Front Strut Bar To Chassis Mount Bush Kit

A common issue with the VT-VZ Commodore & WH-WL Statesman is the O.E oil filled front Strut bar to chassis bush. A worn bush in this location causes excessive backward movement under acceleration and forward movement under braking. It also results in opposed movement from one side of the vehicle to the other under cornering. The resulting movement can make these vehicles unstable under braking, accelerating and cornering while contributing to excessive tyre wear. A worn strut bar bush will cause the other bushes in the lower control arm to wear excessively, for this reason, Speedy Parts has put together a complete Alignment kit containing:
SPF2339K – Strut Bar to Chassis Bush
SPF0756CK – Strut Bar to Lower Control Arm Kit
SPF1232K – Control Arm Lower Inner Bush Kit
This complete kitted option is ideal for a general repair as well has an enhancement upgrade. For Performance Vehicles, Caster settings can be influenced to increase road feel at higher speeds, settings up to 1.25 degrees positive over the standard settings can be achieved when fitting this kit.
